Society for the Advancement of Human and Nature (SADHNA), a non-profit organization, is registered on 22-06-2006 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 (ACT No 21 of 1860) and HP Amendment Act, 1973 in the office of Joint Registrar, Firms Societies and Chits, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh with its permanent headquarters at Vill. Seri, PO Bakhaleg, Tehsil Arki, Distt Solan (HP), India.

The main chapter of SADHNA has been started at Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan (HP). The following activities are being organized by the Society under this chapter :

1.    Publishing of biannual research journal entitled “International Journal of Farm Sciences”

2.    Running of Distance Learning Schools on themes related to agriculture

3.    Conducting of environment awareness activities

4.    Recognizing the scientists, scholars, students, managers, extension workers, etc. for their outstanding work in agriculture and allied fields. Organizing trainings, workshops, symposia, meetings, conferences based on agriculture and related field.
